CHIO Aachen, long regarded as one of the most influential equestrian events in the world, is significantly expanding its programme. With the development of the new Allianz Park, para-dressage will become a permanent discipline from 2027 onward, joining showjumping, dressage, eventing, driving, and vaulting. During next year’s World Championships, the discipline will already be integrated for the first time.
The organising team emphasises that CHIO’s international top position is maintained through a continuous balance between tradition and innovation. The CHIO Aachen CAMPUS plays a key role in this. This knowledge and training platform, which hosts more than ninety activities annually, focuses strongly on youth development, education, and social initiatives.
The new Allianz Park will feature a modern indoor arena and a specially designed stadium for para and youth competitions. Starting in November 2025, all CAMPUS activities, along with dressage, vaulting, driving, and future para competitions, will move to this location. In doing so, Allianz Park will develop into the new central hub for equestrian sport in Aachen.
