Scandinavian Vikings soar to first place in second round of GCL Monaco

The Scandinavian Vikings Evelina Tovek and Geir Gulliksen just sealed the deal in the second round of the GCL Monaco. Kevin Staut was the individual winner.

The Scandinavian Vikings, Tovek and Gulliksen, won with 1 penalty for time. That point came from Gulliksen and VDL Groep Quatro (Quaprice Bois Margot) in the second round. Tovek went clear with Dalila de la Pomme (Taran de la Pomme) and Winnetou de la Hamente Z (Winningmood). 

Laura Kraut, Julien Epaillard and Marlon Modolo Zanotelli, the Monaco Aces, finished second with 8 penalties. The first 4 came from Zanotelli and Koddac vh Indihof (Copperfield von der Held) in the first round, Epaillard and Usual Suspect d'Auge (Jarnac) had one down in the second round. Kraut and Curious George (Codex One) went double clear. 

The Doha Falcons, Jur Vrieling and Bassem Mohammed, finished third with 9 penalties. Both riders went clear in this second round. 

Individual ranking

The French rider won the individual ranking with BWP-gelding For Joy van 't Zorgvliet (For Pleasure). Harry Charles and Borsato (Contendro I) finished second for the British riders, Henrik von Eckermann and Toveks Mary Lou (Montendro) took the third place. Juulia Jyläs and Pius Schwizer completed the top five. 

Overall ranking after tenth leg

The Shanghai Swans are still in the lead after this round, now with 184 points. Madrid In Motion is close behind with 181 points, 1 point ahead of the London Knights.
