Simon Delestre triumphs in Antwerp's GP

Simon Delestre - Valentino VelvetYesterday Antwerp got what is deserved.. an exciting Grand Prix blessed by a warming sun. At a height of 1m60 a total of 13 pairs came back in the second round, giving victory to the winner of 3 years ago, the French rider Simon Delestre. This time Delestre rode his Calentino Velvet (s. Indoctro) taking all the risks starting as the last to go. The pair finished in 37:68 seconds and thus advancing on Harrie Smolders and the approved sire Emerald 74 (s. Diamant de Semilly). The Swiss Nadja Steiner and Celeste 26 (s. Casall) ended in a third place after a Jump-Off in 43:66 seconds. Ending as the best female rider she won an extra Delveaux bagg.
