At the London International Horse Show, the Friday night closed off with the Lemieux Puissance! Twelve riders tested their luck and only Guy Williams managed to stay clear aboard of Mr Blue Sky UK.
With loud cheering of the crowd, Williams and the fourteen years old gelding by Chacco-Blue were the only ones to clear the fifth height. Mark Edwards and Montreuxs Tale (Tinkers Tale) also tried to jump the same height but couldn't manage to go over without a fault. The Iris Commandant Geoff Curran chose to retire with Bishops Quarter (Obos Quality) and came in third.
Jur Vrieling (NED) and El Rocco, a fourteen years old KWPN gelding by Zirocco Blue came in fourth place after they had to quit after the fourth round. Joseph Trunkfield and Over the Top van den Haagakkers (Dieu Merci van T&L) retired in the same round.
