In July, Swiss showjumping rider, Martin Fuchs was charged with abuse of horses by the Austrian Horse Welfare association. Later the Swiss showjumper would be acquitted from the charges and proven innocent.

A lot of riders and horses announce to forfait for the World Equestrian Games in Herning. Amongst other, Willem Greve who fell mid-July at the CH De Wolden.

In 'Auction-land' Equestrian auction house, Equbreeding.auction sells the future full sister to Mumbai for a nice 74.000 euro. 2 months later the auction house would break records selling the most expensive sold foal ever.
