Germany on top in Spanish Nations Cup

Last week the 2002 World Equestrian Games venue was the host for a sunny, hot AIEC Student Riders Nations Cup. In the end it was Germany who brought home the overall victory. Miriam Holbach, Felix Stein and Justus Ohde rode towards the gold medal in dressage and overall. Ohde even took home the individual dressage victory and overall third place. Hosting country, Spain, went home with the second place in both show jumping and the overall standing. Marta Galan Dalmau even took home the second individual overall title. Making her National teamchef, Esteban Benitz Valle, a proud AIEC member. Surprisingly Poland took in the third place at this competition. The fourth place counting for points went to Norway, followed by France and Belgium. Individual it was Swedish Felicia Blindekrans who took home the win. The Swedish finished sixth in show jumping and fourth in dressage, resulting in the overall victory.
