After the Junior Team Finals on Thursday, today they competed for an individual medal at the European Championships in Riesenbeck. With a lead of almost two points, Ireland's Emily Moloney with Temple Alice (Foxglen Cruise Control) was able to take the title.
The silver medal also went to Ireland. Tabitha Kyle managed a handsome performance with BP Goodfellas (Stakkato Gold), finishing with 3.27 penalty points. Despite a slightly less sharp second round, she remained firmly on the podium. Swede Liam Nilsson captured bronze with his mare Ulla Bella Hästak (Bonaparte Z). With a final score of 4.68 penalty points, he proved that Sweden also has youthful jumping talent of international level.
Just off the podium finished Marie Eder Ferrero from Monaco with her ten-year-old gelding Diaradius (Diarado). She collected 5.65 penalty points, good for fourth place. Fifth was Dutch Nina Houtzager, daughter of show jumper Marc Houtzager. With her experienced mare High Five (Toulon), she achieved a total score of 5.84 penalty points.
