Dutch Team wins the EEF Nations Cup of Ebreichsdorf

The Dutch team took victory in the EEF Nations Cup in Ebreichsdorf, Austria! In an exciting second round, the cards were shuffled again, but the Dutch team kept their cool and secured victory without a jump-off.

The Dutch team depended on Henk Frederiks with Impian D (v. VDL Bubalu), Vincent Dings on Cream Couleur Z (v. Cream on Top), Mark Martens with Kinmar Quality Hero (v. Obos Quality) and last but not least Eric Ten Cate in the saddle of Incredible (v. Clinton).

With one rider to go for each country, the Netherlands stood at one with a total of eight penalty points. Everything depended on Eric Ten Cate's second and final round on Incredible. Ten Cate came in second-to-last and steered the 10-year-old gelding through the 1.50m course with one penalty. With a total of twelve points, they dropped to second place, while Italy was the last to send a rider in, with 12 points on the counter at that time.

A difficult round for Italian rider Emilio Bicocchio put 23 penalty points on the counter. This brought the Netherlands back to one, with only 12 points. Ukraine followed in second place with thirteen points, Switzerland had sixteen points on the counter to finish third.
