Laurent Goffinet and Atome des Etisses win the 4* main class in Rouen, France

In Rouen, France the public was up for a late show while they kept jumping until late in the evening. Laurent Goffinet didn't crack under the pressure and won the CSI4* class over 1.50m.

Pénélope Leprévost won yesterdays main class but had to let the victory go in todays 4* class. As the second last rider to go, Leprévost was determined to overdo her performance of the day before with Texas (by Tornesch 1042). She kept the eleven years old gelding without faults in a time of 36,87 beating the combinations that came before her. But there was still one rider to go. Goffinet knew what he had to do and jumped with over one and a half-seconds difference over Leprévost to victory with Atome des Etisses (by Mylord Carthago), leaving her in second.

Niklaus Rutschi was third with Quinoa de Chandor Z (v. Qlassic Bois Margot). William Funnell and Equine America Billy Picador their clear round was good for fourth place while Dutchman Lars Kersten was the last clear combination of the jump-off with Emmerton (v. Silvio I).
