Matthew Sampson wins Grand Prix Qualifier of The Peelbergen

The Grand Prix qualifier of the CSI2* competition was held in Kronenberg. 68 Competitors took part in this class with jump-off and no less than 21 of them managed to stay clear in the basic course. A jump-off with 21 had to decide the winner. The winner was the fast Brit Matthew Sampson. He rode Paul Walker (by Perigueux x Cornet Obolenslu, f. Goessling) clear in 37.06 seconds. 

He stayed ahead of Nicola Philippaerts who celebrates his birthday today. Philippaerts managed to jump a clear round in 37,17 seconds in the saddle of Luna van't Ruytershof (by Levisto Z x For Pleasure, f. 't Ruytershof). Max Kühner and Eic Caleo (by Cachas x Quantum, f. Schulz) completed the top three after a clear round in 37.24 seconds. 

For Zascha Nygaard Andreasen (Quin 33) and Niels Kersten (Tippy Z) there was a fourth and a fifth place.
