For the Dutch team the riders Bart Bles with Israel V/D Dennehoeve, Frank Schuttert with Lyonel D, Jeroen Dubbeldam with Oak Grove's Carlyle and Jur Vrieling at the start. Vrieling had to withdraw in the first round but the other riders knew how to keep the score good for gold.
The second place was for Ireland, they had a total of 8 faults. With 12 faults it was Japan in the third place. Germany came into fourth place and the Czech Republic on the fifth.
