In the German Hohenkirchen, at the Pferdewoche Hohen Wieschendorf, Teike Carstensen won the Grand Prix in front of her home crowd!
Only six combinations made it into the jump-off. The first to go was Leonie Böckmann, who had a fault on the last (huge) oxer with Fire And Ice J (v. For Contest). Johannes Ehning was second to go and clearly set his mind on a clear round with Classic Donna (v. Mylord Carthago). It was indeed a clear round for the duo, who eventually jumped to a second place. The young Teike Carstensen was after this time and sent the grey Greece 5 (v. Mylord Carthago) to a faster clear round!
Carstensen took home the gold medal and referred Ehning to a second place. The British Tim Gredley took home third place.
