Vogel and Pereira de Menezes on top in main class Vilamoura


In Vilamoura the main number of the day has just been jumped: a 1m40 class with separate jump-off. Two rankings were used as there were more than 100 starters.

In the first part the victory went to Richard Vogel. He counted on Morton van't Merelsnest (by Nabab de Reve) to jump a clear jump-off in 34.86 seconds. With this he stayed ahead of Jack Whitaker, who finished second with Elucar VE (by Cardento 933) in second place after a clear round in 37.10 seconds. Third place went to Leon Thijssen. He counted on Carinja 18 (by For Fashion) to ride clear to the finish in 38.02 seconds.

Michel Hecart (Simolo de la Roque Z) and Ingrid Gjelsten (Jovinal) completed the top five.

In the second series, the victory went to Eduardo Pereira de Menezes and H. Big Action (by Action-Breaker). They were able to keep the zero and finished in 36.51 seconds. Roberto Turchetto and Clarico (by Clarimo) finished in second place. They kept the zero and finished in 37.38 seconds. Laura Renwick (How's My Name) completed the top five.
