Kevin Jochems announced today that after two years at Stoeterij Black Horses in Sliedrecht, he will take the first steps to run his own stable. For this, he is moving to Belgium. Jochems will still be able to count on the support of Black Horses. He can also continue to ride a number of horses from owner Jan Vink.
"Today is the start of a new chapter in my career and I’m delighted to announce I will be moving to WP Stables in Belgium. After two fantastic years at Blackhorses Stables I am making the step to run my own stable, however will continue to be supported by Blackhorses by carrying on the development and career of some of their top horses", Kevin Jochems explains.
"With my new base I will have more space and opportunities for taking on and producing more horses who I hope will be able to compete at the highest level of our sport. With the expansion I will also have the possibility to train students as well as continue to compete across the world", says the Dutch rider.
