Belgium announces its team for the European Championship 2023 in Milan

During the first weekend of September, Italy's fashion capital Milan will be the setting for the European Jumping Championships. A very important appointment for countries that so far have been unable to obtain an Olympic ticket. For Belgium, which is already sure to participate in Paris in 2024, it will be a dress rehearsal for the Games in Paris.

Team Manager Peter Weinberg and the Top Sport Cell have since agreed on who the protagonists during this rehearsal will be for Belgium.

The Belgian shortlist consists, as imposed by FEI, of 5 combinations. In the course of August, the Team Manager will then decide which four combinations will start, and which combination will only ride the warm-up and cheer on the team from the stands.

Here are the five Belgian combinations for the European Championships in Milan:

  • Niels Bruynseels – Delux van T&L (SBS- 2009- Toulon x Landetto – Global one Horses – W.Keller)
