French equestrian sports in lockdown because of rhino outbreak

In an attempt to contain the EHV-1 virus outbreak the French equestrian federation has decided to cancel all equestrian competitions on its territory until March 28, 2021. "Only by limiting the transportation of horses we will be able to contain the outbreak of this pandemic virus." states the federation.

If necessary this decision will be prolongued after. "We will asses the situation on a daily basis."  Until March 28 all national and international events will be cancelled.
