Jérôme Guery has announced the sale of one of his top horses Napoli vh Nederassenthof today. The nine-year-old BWP gelding Napoli vh Nederassenthof (by President) will from now on compete with Norwegian Young Rider Ingrid Gjelsten.
The breeding product of Emiel Valvekens ended up at the age of six with Olympic rider Jérôme Guery where he continued his career in the international sport. Guery's partner Patricia started in the saddle of this gelding and after several successful performances Jérôme himself took over the reins. The duo achieved several placings at both four and five star level.
At the Global Champions Tour in Doha earlier this year, the two achieved a top ten ranking in the 1.55m class. Earlier this year they finished fourth in the 3* Grand Prix in Oliva. In Valence they also won a 4* 1.45m class.
"His great performances have attracted a lot of interest and today we are very happy that, with the help of Enda Carroll of Ashford Farm and Marlon Zonatelli, Napoli will support the horses of Gjelsten Equestrian Stables and thus enable Ingrid, a young 21-year-old rider, to develop further at top level. We wish them good luck and success," said Jérôme Guery.
