Tobias Meyer has said goodbye to his champion horse, Greatest Boy (Carrera VDL). Last year the German show jumper won the national title with this eleven-year-old KWPN horse. From now on the son of Carrera VDL will start with Edwina Tops-Alexander in the saddle.
Meyer and the bay gelding had several successes. The pair finished fourth in the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Miami. Together with the German team, the combination also jumped to second place in the Hickstead Nations Cup, where Meyer and Greatest Boy jumped double clear.
Last week Tops made her debut with the gelding in Opglabbeek. This week the new combination will start during the Global Champions Tour of Riad.
