Pieter Devos: "Winning should not come at the expense of the horse!"

In the latest edition of the podcast "2 Man en een Paardenkop" it is Pieter Devos who speaks. Devos candidly discusses the mental pressure that top riders face. "Today, I'm not sure if I can defend my Olympic medal in Paris. The horses today are still a bit too young. I'd prefer to be in the arena in Paris, but it won't be easy!" Devos explains. "In our sport, the horse must come first. You have to calculate how you approach the arena. If you have the right horse at the right moment, anything is possible; otherwise, you have to proceed with calculated precision!"
