The leading position of reigning European Champion, Martin Fuchs, didn't last long on the FEI Longines Ranking List. After one month, compatriot, Steve Guerdat is back as world number one show jumping rider, referring Fuchs to the runner-up position.
Not much has changed in January as only Christian Ahlmann shakes up a bit the top ten jumping into the tenth position.
However strong female show jumpers let them hear as Laura Kraut (44) and Jessica Springsteen (48) jump into the top 50. Best female showjumper remains world number seven, Elizabeth Madden.
