The new Chair of the FEI Athletes' Committee is Jessica Kürten

Jessica Kürten was elected the new chairwoman of the Athletes' Commission at the FEI for a term running from 2022 to 2026. Kürten herself was a renowned equestrian and, among other things, a full member of the Irish team. She is also one of two women to ever win the IJRC Top 10 Final.

Kürten herself is no longer active in the sport but is still a renowned trainer who is in high demand and not unknown in the jumping world. For Kürten, the equestrian sport has always been her passion which makes her happy to take on this new role alongside her other activities.

The FEI Athletes Committee consists of FEI Athletes Representatives from the various FEI Technical Committees across disciplines such as dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, jumping, pommel horse and para-dressage. The FEI Athletes Committee plays a crucial role and is the voice of the athletes during the overall FEI decision-making process.
