Olympic Swiss rider Pius Schwizer announced today on his social media that he has unfortunately had to say goodbye to Werner Rütimann. He was a dear friend, sponsor and co-owner of some of Schwizer's horses.
Rütimann has been seriously ill for some time and he lost a long battle against his poor health. "I want to thank Werner and his family for the long and many years of good cooperation. We have celebrated many successes together. I wish his family a lot of strength in this difficult time. We will always remember him," said Pius Schwizer.
