Earlier this week Dutch showjumping rider, Willem Greve was informed he is selected to defend the Dutch colors at the World Equestrian Games in Herning. However Jos Lansink probably will have to count on one of his reserve combinations. Greve fell of his horse at the CH De Wolden and injured his left arm and ankle.
The 39-year-old rider earlier won the CH De wolden Grand Prix in 2019. He was transported this afternoon to the hospital for further research.
As the injury in his arm will have to heal in a natural way, Greve won't be able to compete at the FEI World Equestrian Games in Herning and will be replaced by Jur Vrieling.
