Charlotte Casiraghi And Jessica Springsteen Will Compete For Gucci At Longines Global Champions Tour In London

Monaco royal Charlotte Casiraghi and Bruce Springsteen’s daughter Jessica Springsteen will be among the equestrians competing at the Longines Global Champions Tour’s latest event in London. Charlotte, 27, and Jessica, 22, are both Gucci equestrian ambassadors; they last competed for the brand at the Paris Eiffel Jumping event, along with Australian Olympian Edwina Tops-Alexander and French actor Guillaume Canet. The London Evening Standard writes that the event will feature nine of the world’s top ten riders as ranked by the Federation Equestre Internationale, including British Olympians Scott Brash and Ben Maher. New York mayor Michael Bloomberg’s daughter Georgina Bloomberg will also compete. The competition will take place at the Horse Guards Parade near St. James’ Park. The event will be organized by the Queen’s eldest grandchild Peter Philips, 35, who said that the ground was chosen because it is “the most prestigious place to hold an outdoor event in London. “After the success of the inaugural event in 2013 at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, we wanted to build on that and it doesn’t get much better than the iconic setting of Horse Guards Parade. “We once again welcome back the best riders and horses in the world in what will be their final appearance before heading off to the World Equestrian Games in Normandy at the end of August.” Bruce Springsteen and Mayor Bloomberg are expected to attend to support their daughters.
