Not only showjumping this weekend. The Spanish Mallorca is all about dressage these days. The first of two weeks 'Balearen Tour Es Fangar' has started. This evening the CDI4* riders could show their best under artificial light. Very strong competitors signed in so it promised to be a good show! In the end it was Madeleine Witte-Vrees who who the Grand Prix with her 9-year old stallion Cennin (Vivaldi). Witte-Vrees was one of the last riders to enter the ring and she surely convinced the jury. The five judges put her all on first spot and she got a score of 74,240%. This is the highest score the combination has ever gotten in a GP. Second spot was for the German rider Helen Langehanenberg. She saddled her 14-year old Damsey FRH (Dressage Royal). Helen and her stallion got a total of 71,020%. Danielle Heijkoop and Badari (Gribaldi) rode to third place. For this combination, is was only their third time to ride a GP together. They got rewarded with a beautiful 70,280%. The Portuguese Maria Caetano and Coroado (Rubi) ended on fourth place. Isabelle Steidle and Long Drink (Langenhagen) completed the top 5.
