Charlotte Dujardin takes the gold in Aachen

It was a bad day for Edward Gal and Glock's Undercover NOP. The judges noticed a drop of blood on the 14-year-old Ferro-son and disqualified the combination at the European Championships in Aachen. In today's Grand Prix Special the favorites had to give away the gold medal to World Cup Finals winner, Charlotte Dujardin and the 13-year-old Valegro (by Negro). The judges approved with a big 87.577 %. German dressage Champion, Kristina Broring-Sprehe finished second with 83.067%. Bronze medal was for the Netherlands for Hans Peter Minderhoud. Together with Glock's Johnson TN he collected a total of 79.034%. Spanish Beatriz Ferrer - Salat and Delgado made it to a nice Fourth place with 77.395%, impressing judge Katrina Wuest. Dujardin's compatriot Carl Hester completed the top five. Aboard Nip Tuck he just got over 77%. The top 15 is selected for romorrow's Freestyle Grand Prix.
