While Aachen is hosting the European Championships, the Netherlands is having its own European Championships as well. The EC for Rural riders is going on in Helvoirt. Riders have to compete in the different disciplines of the equestrian sports. After the group dressage round it is Great-Britain who's in the lead. The British team collected a total of 250.35 points after the first official round. Zoe Wilkinson (GHS Calvaruise), Danielle Dunn (Zocarla BLH), Tyle Cassells (Grandslam) and Sarah Holmes (Lowhill Clover) rode for the collected points. Emily Prangnell and DHI Beaunesse had a slighter unfortunate day ensuring the deleted result. The Netherlands take in the runner-up postition so far, followed by Germany. Belgium and Austria complete the top five.
