Isabell Werth wins Grand Prix in Lyon

The international dressage competition FEI World Cup Dressage Grand Prix just finished. The German rider Isabell Werth won with ease on Emilio, an eleven-year-old Westfalian gelding by Ehrenpreis. Werth is the current number one in the FEI World Ranking Dressage with Weihegold. With Emilio, Werth also holds the fourth place in the ranking. In this competition, Werth and Emilio proved that they are worthy of this top ranking. They won with an amazing score of 80,2%. The Swedish rider Patrik Kittel and Deja (Silvano) also rode a great test and came in second with 76,88%, even though two out of the five judges would have rather put him in third place. Eventually, it was Beatriz Ferrer-Salat and Delgado (De Niro) who finished third for Spain.
