Jorinde Verwimp takes a home win in Grand Prix Freestyle of Mechelen

In Mechelen, a busy international dressage morning has just ended with the CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle. 13 combinations entered the show ring. The victory went to the Belgian home rider Jorinde Verwimp. She and her 17-year old top gelding Tiamo (f. Lester) under the saddle, she collected a total of 76,800%. With this score, she beat two Dutch riders. Patrick van der Meer ended on second place. He already managed to win three classes this week, but today he had to take peace with the second place. He saddled 13-year old KWPN gelding (f. Rousseau) for the job. Danielle Heijkoop and Badari (f. Gribaldi) ended on third place. They got an overall score of 74,625%.
