Germany's dressage Queen Isabell Werth is as always at her best. In the German town of Balve she once more proved to be the number one during the international horse event with both dressage and jumpsport. In the German Championships in a four star national Grand Prix Kür on music she and her Emilio 107 (by Ehrenpreis) impressed the jury and the public with a beautiful performed Kür that ended with a total of 89.125%. The jury was almost unanimous in their decision to put the combination on the first place. She took home her thirteenth dressage title. It was Sönke Rothenberger who made them doubt their decision. The 23 year old rider and his Dutch Warmblood Cosmo 59 (by Van Gogh) impressed the jury with an constant Kür putting them in second place with 87.600%. It was then Dorothee Schneider who finished in third place with her Sammy Davis Jr (by San Remo) with whom she ended up with a total of 81.650%. The top five was then completed by Helen Langehanenberg and her Damsey FRH (by Dressage Royal) in fourth place with 81.450%.
