It looks like it is official, the 14-year-old Negro-son, Valegro is looking for its retirement. Carl Hester announced that Charlotte has completely proven herself. In London at the Olympia Horse Show Great-Britain's top dessage horse will retire from the sport with a beautiful ceremony. It are Carl Hester and Roly Luard who own Valegro. "There's nothing else left for Valegro to win..." states Hester. However the gelding will still appear in public. This weekend Valegro will give a demonstration in New York at the Central Park Horse Show. Further the two will possibly appear at the Badminton Horse Trials for a demonstration as well. Valegro won an Olympic title, many world cup titles, British Championships titles and many more victories. Together with Charlotte Dujardin the gelding won twice the Olympic Games. Further they won 49 out of their 61 international Grand Prix's and the World and European Championships.
