HP Dressage rider Vanessa Way has placed eighth in the FEI Prix St George class at Hartpury’s International Festival of Dressage overnight. Aboard Don Archie (owned by Carl Hester and Anne Cory) she scored 67.737%. The class was won by Anders Dahl aboard Selten HW on 74.316%. “He was great,” said Way of the horse. “We made just a couple of expensive mistakes, but overall I am really pleased. Carl and all Team Hester made is another incredible experience!”
Twenty-six competed in the class, including the favoured siblings Maria and Michael Eilberg, who both featured in the top eight. Way’s coach Carl Hester was a comfortable winner of the FEI Grand Prix, scoring 74.6% aboard Nip Tuck, well ahead of the second-placed Anders Dahl on Wie-Atlantico de Ymas on 69.560%.
