Netherlands and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl take the lead at Olympic Dressage Games

Today the first combinations have made their appearance at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. With the first three groups completed it are the Dutch who are in the running for the Gold Medal.

Edward Gal made an excellent performance. "I dreamed of a course like this," Gal stated after his performance.  Only Cathrine Dufour and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl managed to make a better impression to the judges.

Jessica von Bredow-Werndl made today's topscore with TSF Dalera (Easy Game). The German pair was awarded with 84,379%. Aboard her Bohemian (Bordeaux 28), Dufour collected a total of 81,056%. Gal followed with 78,649% with Total US (Totilas).
