Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Angelica Augustsson-Zanotelli built their careers and had many successful years as riders at Ashford Farm. In 2016, the couple decided to start their own stable in Eksel, Belgium. Eight years later, they join the growing Ashford Group, which will include several equestrian enterprises in addition to the established Ashford Farm stables in Bocholt. “The Ashford Group continues to grow and we strive to work with the best professionals within this constantly evolving business,” explains Enda Carroll.
“The cooperation with Marlon and Angelica has always remained close. Both riders compete regularly with horses (co-owned) by Ashford Farm and over the years we have also traded and sold many horses together,” Enda continued. “Augustsson-Zanotelli Stables will merge with the Ashford Group and our companies will join forces. We are very excited to work even more closely with Marlon and Angelica, while continuing to work from their current location. They are highly motivated and talented riders and I believe we will be stronger together. We are happy to welcome them to the team and the latest developments of the Ashford Group.”
Natural collaboration
Both Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Angelica Augustsson-Zanotelli are excited about the next step in their renewed collaboration. “Ashford Farm has always had a very special place in our hearts and the opportunity to work more closely with Enda and his team is something we are looking forward to and feels natural to us,” Angelica continued. “We look forward to merging our qualities with the qualities of Ashford Farm. In this case, 1 + 1 does not equal 2, but 3. We are confident that we can achieve great things together,” concludes Marlon.
Under the Ashford Farm banner
With this merger, Marlon and Angelica will once again represent Ashford Farm alongside established riders Jana Wargers and Giavanna Rinaldi. With the current expansion of the Ashford Group, Jana will soon move to her hometown of Emsdetten, Germany where she will continue to represent Ashford Farm as a top level rider. Giavanna Rinaldi successfully represents Ashford Farm in both Europe and North America and will continue to do so with Bocholt as her home base.
The development of the Ashford Group
“Our COO Michael Cristofoletti has trained Jana for many years, from the European Championships to the Olympics. We are now exploring opportunities for Michael, Marlon and Angelica to share their exclusive insights as coaches with a limited number of appropriate students. There are many exciting developments ahead and we look forward to working with all these professionals and having them as ambassadors for the Ashford Group.
