The organizers of CSIO Barcelona have decided to adjust the weekend schedule due to poor weather forecasts and warnings issued by the Catalan government and the meteorological agency Meteocat. To ensure the safety of spectators, participants, and teams, as well as the welfare of the horses, several changes have been made to the timetable.
Changes to the schedule
-
Copa de S.M. la Reina – KAR Sport Horses Trophy – Generalitat de Catalunya Award: This class, originally scheduled for Saturday evening at 8:00 PM, has been brought forward to 5:45 PM.
-
Parade of Nations: The traditional parade, which was set to take place on Saturday at 6:00 PM in the PoloPark by Calvet, has been canceled.
-
Longines League of Nations™ Final: The grand final of the Longines League of Nations on Sunday, October 4, will start later than planned. The first combination will now enter the arena at 2:30 PM.
The organization emphasizes that horse and rider welfare is always the top priority and asks spectators and participants for their understanding regarding these measures.
