Trevor Breen is back in the saddle after fall at Hamburger Derby

After his bad fall at the Longines Grand Prix of the Hamburger Derby in May, Trevor Breen is back in the saddle!

The brother of rider Shane Breen was carted off after his fall but by evening the redeeming news fell that both rider and horse were out of danger. Breen underwent surgery to repair and stabilize fractures. The prognosis was positive, although there was a long road ahead to be able to walk and ride again.

Trevor Breen, with the approval of his doctors, is now finally back in the saddle. He has ridden the first rounds at home with Highland President and even cavalettis are already part of his routine again.
