Olivier Philippaerts: "I'm happy with the precautions. In the end we were really at risk"

Just like everyone else, the Philippaerts family stays at home these days. Horses are only trained on the field of their stud. They however are very happy with all the precautions taken: "Of course it's a pitty that all shows are being cancelled, but in the end we were really at risk", Olivier says.

"We are always on the road, we travel a lot and we get from one airplane in the other. Therefore I fully understand that all the shows are being cancelled".

Nicola Philippaerts confirms that statement: "Of course I didn't like it when all the shows got cancelled since I started my season very strong with a win in the GCL and a second place in de Grand Prix of Doha. The season now has an unforeseen break, but that's just how it is".
