John Perez and Gigi Carmen jump to glory in 1.60m CSI5* Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows

A total of four combinations qualified for the Jump-Off, with all four producing a double clear in the 1.60m Grand Prix at the Continental jumping at Spruce Meadows. In the end, John Perez Bohm and Gigi-Carmen set the fastest time.

Together with the daughter of Bacardi VDL, bred by M.CJ.M. Burgers, the Colombian rider jumped to victory in 45,32 seconds. Gigi was produced at an international level by Marwin Van den Nieuwenhuijzen (NED) and Mareille van Geel-Schorder (NED).

Ireland's Darragh Kenny followed aboard Arna 't Kruisveld (Arko III). Kenny and the former mare of Belgium's Karel Cox, where the second to go in. USA's Lillie Keenan followed in a third spot aboard her KWPN-horse, Fasther (Vigo d'Arsouilles).

Keenan and her horse, bred by G.J.A Moerings were followed by Mario Deslauriers and Bardolina 2 (Clarimo Ask). The top five was completed by Rowan Willis aboard Blue Movie (Chacco-Blue)
