His crowning achievement as Chef d’Équipe came at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where he led Canada to a Team Silver Medal, while Eric Lamaze went on to claim Individual Gold. In 2011, Millar was inducted into the Jump Canada Hall of Fame in the Builder (Individual) category.   In addition, Millar has been the Chair of High Performance for Jump Canada since 2004, and was recently elected to the 2016 EC Board of Directors.   “Terrance is one of the most well-respected individuals in equestrian sport in Canada,” said EC CEO, Eva Havaris. “He has dedicated his life to equestrian sport as an athlete, trainer, coach, leader and builder. I look forward to working with him and the rest of our support team in Rio to ensure we collectively provide a solid foundation of support for our CET athletes in their pursuit for the podium.”
