The competition in Prague has just kicked off with the first round of the GCL of Prague, a class over 1.45m. For Ales Opatrny this was an instant bull's eye, after he jumped a beautiful clear round with Forewer (Caruso 279) that earned him a beautiful gold medal.
The 1.45m high basic course, which was ridden immediately on time, was ultimately completed fastest and without mistakes by the Czech Ales Opatrny. In the saddle of Forewer (Caruso 279) he finished in 56.24 seconds, almost four seconds faster than his pursuers. Denis Lynch took silver in 60.05 seconds on the back of the 10-year-old stallion Cornets Iberio (Cornet Obolensky), ahead of the Dutchman Jur Vrieling with Griffin van de Heffinck (Casteline van de Helle).
Just off the podium, Samuel Hutton placed fourth on Casablanca-H (Conteur) in a time of 60.63 seconds, followed by Sweden's Linda Heed in the saddle of Heartcore L (Heartbeat).
