Bryan Balsiger unbeatable in 5* main class of the day at Hubside Jumping

Bryan Balsiger and Ak's Courage (Chepetto C) already entered the prize ceremony of every class they entered this week in Saint Tropez, with today's top performance being a gold medal in the 5* 1.50m high Longines Ranking class - the main class of the day.

Balsiger stayed double clear, and with a fast time of 38.10 seconds he gave the competition no chance. Denis Lynch finished a second slower on the back of Gc Chopin's Bushi (Contendro II) and came in second. Italian Piergiorgio Bucci jumped to the third fastest time with Naiade d'Elsendam Z (Nabab de Reve).

The spot just next to the podium was also filled by an Italian rider. Giulia Martinengo Marquet, previously good for two gold medals in the 5* classes, now had to be satisfied with fourth place together with Scuderia 1918 Calle Deluxe (Cesano 2). Belgian Thierry Goffinet sent the 10-year-old bay gelding Caruso de Mignot (Diamant de Semilly) to fifth in a time of 42.46 seconds.
