The CSI5* 1.60m Longines Global Champions Tour Gran Premio de Madrid was won by Christian Kukuk and Checker 47.
The first faultless round came from Marco Kutscher. Riding Karajan (Kannan), he crossed the finish line in 53.99s. Shortly after, compatriot Christian Kukuk took the lead, guiding Checker 47 (Comme il Faut) to the finish in 45.85s. Maikel van der Vleuten chased that time on Beauville Z N.O.P. Gilles Thomas entered the arena with the stunning stallion Ermitage Kalone.
