Convincing victory of Roger Yves Bost in 1.45m accumulator class of Maastricht

The first 4* class of the day in Maastricht, an accumulator class over 1.45m height, immediately caused the necessary sensation. The Frenchman Roger Yves Bost pulled out all the stops, and took the victory together with the Selle Français mare Urane (Miami de Semilly).

Bost steered the chestnut mare Urane perfectly through the 1.45m high accumulation class, and set the best performance in 46.90 seconds. One and a half seconds slower, Lucas Porter from the USA took the silver in the saddle of Hope Street (Casall). Both Annelies Vorsselmans and Leopold van Asten stopped the chrono at exactly 50.44 seconds, which resulted in an ex-aequo bronze podium place. Vorsselmans could count on the 9-year-old Quo Vadis DKG (Q-Verdi) for this, and was accompanied in the award ceremony by van Asten aboard the 8-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare VDL Groep Victoria. The top five was completed by Eric van der Vleuten and Icarronne-S (Carrera VDL).
