Hans-Dieter Dreher and CousCous had the audience on the edge of their seats. Blink and you missed them... The pair kept the victory of the Prize of Stuttgart on home soil.
Eight of just over thirty riders could qualify for the second round. Jos Verlooy crowned his successful week with the silver for Fts Killossery Konfusion, a thirteen-year-old gelding by Siec Livello from the breeding of F & L Glynn. With approximately half a second difference, the local combination Hans-Dieter Dreher once again claimed victory on Cous Cous (Cachas), breeder: Hols. The top three was rounded out by Steve Guerdat and Double Jeu d'Honvault (Kannan).
On four there was the Netherland's Loewie Joppen aboard of Osiris FZ (Dallas). The top five was concluded by Marie Shulze Topphoff (GER) who had the last double clear in the saddle of Villimey V. Gaste (Van Helsing).
