Jessica Springsteen opens Equestrian Cup St Tropez with a bang

The first 3* course of the Equestrian Cup St-Tropez edition was won by Jessica Springsteen. The American rider formed a pair with Naomi van het Keizershof to secure this victory.

The jumps were set at a height of 1.45m and had 65 contestants at the start. Springsteen delivered the fastest round in the saddle of the ten years old mare by Cardento. Only 20 hundredths kept Alexandre Fontanelle (FRA) from the victory with Ello Arthur (Con Air). Fontanelle could also be found on fourth place with Hamlet Cooper (Casall). The French dominated the top five with a third place for Nicolas Layec and Best of Iscla (Diamant de Semilly) and fifth for Mathieu Lambert and Cayetano Loisel (Oslo du Chalet).
