Julien Epaillard takes gold in 5* World Cup Qualifier of Madrid Horse Week

47 rider and horse-combinations came at the start of the 5* World Cup Qualifier at Madrid Horse Show. Out of 21 clear combinations, Julien Epaillard was the one who jumped to victory.

After winning the silver medal in yesterday's 1.45m with Donatello d'Auge (v.Jarnac), Epaillard brought another great jumper with him to Madrid. Caracole de La Roque (v. Zandor Z) jumped her heart out for the French rider and set the time to beat on a fast 55,25 seconds. No one was able to do better. Denis Lynch came closest to their time, finishing in 57,86 with GC Chopin's Bushi (v. Contendro II) and taking second place. On third place was Ben Maher in the saddle of Exit Remo (v. San Remo) with a time of 60,15. 

Daniel Deusser and Bingo Ste Hermelle (v. Number One d'Iso) took fourth place while Eduardo Alvarez Aznar and D'Orient Batilly (v. Numero Uno) finished in fifth.
