Nicola Pohl and Arlo de Blondel secure victory in 2nd Individual Class of Prague

Day two in Prague! Before the semifinal of the GCL bursts loose, the combinations had an individual appointment at the show. A challenging 1.50m course was set up for the CSI5* class in Prague, having only ten clear rounds. Germany's Nicola Pohl didn't crack under pressure and steered Arlo de Blondel to success.

The top positions of this class were dominated by the German combinations present. Nicola Pohl claimed victory in the competition riding Arlo de Blondel (Tlaloc M, breeder: Michel Ruel). Irish rider Denis Lynch followed closely behind in second place with Cornets Iberio (Cornet Obolensky), trailing by 24 hundredths. The top three was completed by Laura Klaphake, the German rider who needed two seconds more on Davenport VDL (Diamant de Semilly) to complete the course faultlessly.

Four and five also went to Germany. Klaphake secured a second qualification aboard of Cortes (Chacco-Blue) and was not only third but also fifth. Katrin Eckermann and Chao Lee (Comme il Faut) didn't touch a single pole and ended up fourth.
