[VIDEO] Richard Howley and Consulent de Prelet Z start the World Cup Season with a win in Oslo

The first leg for the World Cup took place in Oslo, Norway. The kick-off of the season was won by the Irish Richard Howley who proved to be the best aboard of Consulent de Prelet Z.

Only ten combinations of riders and horses succeeded to stay in both the main course as the jump-off clear. The fastest time was set by Howley and the 12 years old gelding by Consulent Z. With 30 hundredths of a second more on the clock, Simon Delestre (FRA) followed in second with the 10 years old Dexter Fontenis Z (Diarado). Jack Whitaker (GBR) proved to be still on top of his game and steered Equine America Valmy de la Lande (Mylord Carthago) to third place. 

On four there was Kevin Staut (FRA) with Beau de Laubry Z (Bisquet Balou vd Mispelaere) followed by Shane Breen (IRL) who took fifth with Cuick Star Kervec (Quick Star).
