The Credit Suisse Challenge was the final spectacle of the day at the CHI de Genève. As in the other classes, the obstacles were eye-catching and colorful and arranged in such a way that it made for a technically challenging course for the combinations present. Only a few of them left the wood untouched, including Irishman Shane Sweetnam on Alejandro (by Acorado's Ass).
Of the nine clear combinations, it was Shane Sweetnam who lead the lap of honor on Alejandro (by Acorado's Ass). The duo was able to stop the clock at 63.13. With only a few hundredths difference, this kept the Irishman ahead of the World No. 1, Henrik Von Eckermann. The Swede was in the saddle of Glamour Girl (by VDL Zirocco Blue) and rode an excellent round that was good for silver. With almost a second difference, bronze went to Eduardo Pereira de Menezes and HS Kastello Memo (by Thunder vd Zuuthoeve).
At four came another Irishman, specifically Conor Swail. He rode Vital Chance de La Roque (by Diamant de Semilly) around the 1.55m course without any faults. Kevin Staut concluded the top five in the saddle of Dialou Blue PS (by Diarado's Boy). Yannick Jorand treated his home crowd to a clear round with Cipetto 2 (by Contagio) and came sixth. Christian Tardy was the other local combination to join in the honors. He closed the list of clear rounds on nine with Vic du Marais (by Jarnac).
