"It's official: our crack rider Dexter Fontenis Z is No. 1 in the world," writes a delighted Simon Delestre (FRA). The French rider is number one with the 10-year-old gelding by Diarado.
"What an honor for me to be able to work with such a champion every day! Thank you to the Hochstadter family for their trust and well done for bringing this superstar into the world," reads the message. Dexter Fontenis Z was bred by SCRI S.Ky Horses.
The duo has climbed from place four to the lead position this month. Former leader, Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac, breeder: Susana Epaillard Garcia Cereceda) take over fourth place. Kent Farrington (USA) is a strong riser along with Landon, ex Crack de Nyze Z (Comilfo Plus Z) from breeder Danny Nijs and comes in at two. The top three is decided by the world number one, Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) with King Edward (Edward 28), also a Belgian breeding product from the breeding farm of Wim Impens. Harrie Smolders (NED) completes the top five with Monaco NOP (Cassini II, breeder: Ralf Lütje).
